Community Guidelines

Every call on Pink Chat Live is one person talking to another, live. These are the rules that keep it that way for everyone.

Who can use Pink Chat Live

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pink Chat Live, and so must the person on the other side of the call. Accounts that belong to anyone younger are closed as soon as we find them.

How to be good company

  • Be on camera as yourself. A live picture of you — not a still image, a pre-recorded clip or someone else's face.
  • Keep it friendly. Treat the other person the way you would treat someone you just met in a café.
  • Respect a no. If someone does not want to talk about something, drop it. They do not owe you a reason.
  • Let people go. Either side can end a call at any time, and that includes paid calls.

Not allowed — account removed at once

  • Anything involving someone under 18, in any form. We remove the account and pass the matter to the authorities.
  • Explicit or intimate material shown or requested on camera, by either person.
  • Recording or sharing. Screen-recording a call, taking screenshots of someone, or passing on any part of a conversation.
  • Scams and money requests. Asking for money, gift cards, payment details or verification codes, or steering someone to another app or site to get them.
  • Threats of any kind, including threats to share something about a person.

Not allowed — account removed if it continues

  • Harassment: insults, intimidation, or keeping on after someone has said no.
  • Hate directed at someone because of who they are — their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or any similar trait.
  • Impersonation: pretending to be another person, or a member of our team.
  • Spam and promotion: using calls to advertise, sell or recruit.

What happens after a report

You can report someone from inside the chat. A person reviews every report, looking at the part of the conversation that was reported. Chats are not read as a matter of routine — the reported part is the only exception.

An account removed for breaking these guidelines is removed for good: the same person cannot sign up again. If you block someone, the block is permanent and takes effect straight away.

If you think we got it wrong

Write to us through the contact page and a person will look at the decision again. These guidelines form part of the Terms of Service; practical tips are in the Safety Center.

Getting in touch

[email protected] reaches a person. For anything that happened inside a chat, the report control is faster — contact lists which route fits what.
